Meet our team
Our are highly qualified team have a wealth of experience and knowledge working in the Early Years sector. They support each child and ensure we meet the needs of each and every child.
We also offer 1:1 support, SEND support and behaviour management support.
Our team holds qualifications of level 2 and above, with a range of other qualifications including behaviour management, food safety, working with under 2s, prevent, SEND and Online safety training.
All our staff are first aid and safeguarding trained and have all been working in the nursery for a combined time of 10 years.
We also support staff with professional development and currently have a member of staff working toward their Level 3 in Childcare.
Michella Taylor - Nursery Manager
Michella is a NVQ Level 3 qualified, with 10 years experience. Michella is extremely passionate about providing excellent childcare and ensuring children have fun in a safe, fun and friendly environment. Michella loves being able to combine working around children with orchestrating the smooth running of a business.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter.
Hannah Nicholson - Operations Manager
Hannah has a BA(hons) in Early Years Practice as well as an NNEB in Childcare. Hannah has been working in Early years for 30 years and has a multide of experience in a variety of settings. Hannah oversees our Nurseries and ensures quality, implementing new ideas and practice as well as leading the less experienced members of our team. Hannah also is qualified to teach Forest School is training to be a Forest School leader. We hope this is something Hannah can implement at all our nurseries.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends.
Francesca Joseph - Deputy Manager
Frankie has worked in childcare for over 10 years. She has experience with all ages from 3 months to 11 years. Frankie is an experienced Deputy Manager and has a BA HONS in Early Childhood Studies, has qualified teacher status in English and First Aid and Safeguarding Training.
There is never a dull moment at Playways Day Nursery & Preschool, your child will enjoy a full range of activities throughout the day. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and we use EYLOG as our primary evaluation and child development platform.
At Playways Day Nursery & Pre-School we offer a full range of indoors/outdoors activities throughout the day, where children are able to learn about movement and develop both the fine and gross motors skills. The children are also exposed to extensive and wonderful outdoor facilities where they can explore, investigate and discover.
